I wrote “God Is Moving Here at Crosswind” as a declaration of what God is doing in the lives of people at Crosswind. This song is about mercy meeting people in their pain, hope rising where there was once fear, and Jesus bringing healing, restoration, and revival. I wanted it to feel like a true worship anthem. Something that sounds alive, hopeful, and full of faith. The lyrics came from the picture of people walking in carrying burdens, shame, and silent battles, then encountering the love and healing presence of God. It is also about families being drawn together, prodigals coming home, the hurting finding hope again, and the church lifting up the name of Jesus with open hands and burning hearts. More than anything, this song is meant to honor what God is doing and point all the glory back to Him.
