The Story Behind the Song
“God Is Moving Here sa Crosswind” was written as a declaration of what God is doing in and through Crosswind. I wanted this version to feel especially close to the heart of our Filipino and Taglish-speaking community, while still carrying the same message of hope, healing, and revival. This song is about people coming in with pain, fear, shame, and brokenness, then meeting the mercy, presence, and power of Jesus.
I wanted it to feel like a real worship anthem, something people could sing together with faith and expectation. The Taglish style makes it feel more personal, more natural, and more connected to the people and families this song is meant to encourage. It is about homes being restored, chains breaking, the hurting finding hope again, and Jesus being glorified in the middle of it all.
More than anything, this song is meant to point to the truth that God is still moving, still healing, still drawing people near, and still worthy of all the glory.
